So.!! Just get happy in any way you can.

Do the things that please you most.

Spend time with the people that thrill you most.

Go to the places where you bask easily .

And most of all make a decision that

“Nothing is more important than that I feel good”

And under those conditions you will be guided with a precision that will knock your socks off.

Not just to an area that will receive little disruption, but to an area where you can thrive. To an area where you can find joy. To an area where you will rendezvous with the others you’ve intended

Today's 'Yogi Tea' Inspiration

I have a daily ritual that I really really love and that is my cup (or 2) of 'Yogi Tea'. I particularly love the Classic India Spice. My husband thinks hot and spicy tea is just not normal but I really enjoy the fiery sensation followed by smooth spice afterward. Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to purchase the USA version here in Sydney and the European is not the same. I used to purchase it when I lived in NZ and now I've found a shop in NZ that will post it to me.

Anyway, on every tea bag there is an inspirational tag and today's is:

The Secret behind The Secret - Esther and Jerry Hicks

This DVD was very enlightening and a fantastic interview with Esther and Jerry Hicks and of course Abraham. I had heard of Esther Hicks when 'The Secret' was released. I came across a video of Abraham-Hicks on You Tube and remember thinking WOW what is this? a little taken back at first I continued to watch and found myself seeking more and more about who this Abraham-Hicks was - a person, energy or being?....anyhow after watching a few more videos I became hooked and for the first time spiritually everything started making sense for me, where I failed to resonate with teachings of religion, The Teachings of Abraham opened me to the term 'Source energy' and 'Vibration'.

With this new found curiosity I purchased the dvd 'The Secret behind The Secret' featuring Esther and Jerry Hicks. My husband even sat down and watched it with me and we found ourselves watching it again the following evening.

Esther really is a peaceful and loving person it's hard to believe what wonders and wisdom comes from her when channeling Abraham. When you get past what is potentially 'weird' to many, the teachings are amazing and powerful and somehow make sense to everything experienced here on earth.

In this interview many questions are answered of Abraham that can really shine some light on the Universal Laws and a new refreshing perspective on living here in this physical world. If you are interested in Abraham Hicks or even a follower of the teachings already this DVD is worth having in your library.

Youthful Inspiration

As mentioned in my previous post I registered for the 30 Day Yoga Challenge with Dashama at Perfect10Lifestyle and two days ago I received my dvd and book. I also purchased Dashama's 'Yoga for Kid's dvd' and 2 really beautiful crystal pendants from India. I was so pleased to receive my package but surprisingly not as excited as my 4 year old daughter 'Rosa'. The moment she saw the kid's yoga dvd she couldn't wait to put it on. It has only been 2 days and the moment I walk in the door from work it is the first thing she wants to do.

On the first evening we did the yoga together, and it was so much fun, it was wonderful watching her tune into Dashama and her instruction, and then this evening my husband and I sat back and watched her. We were really inspired and filled with joy to watch our little 4 year old so engrossed in this wonderful and peaceful practice.

It's Time for Transformation

I haven't posted for a little while now, no particular reason really. I have been spending quite alot of my energy settling into our new home, spending alot of quality time with my daughter and I'm seeing that relationship blossom beautifully now.

I have been following along with my Abraham Hicks literature and recently listening to the audio version of Ask and it is Given Volume 1. This is a fantastic starter on the Teachings of Abraham and what I am loving the most is as Abraham would put it 'we really must make easy work of it all'. This is so far from my initial belief system of achieving and goal setting etc that I am really loving the contrast. I have been living determined, focused, anxious, desperate, hard set and goal driven, with a must work mentality and what I am now learning really throws a whole new direction for me with my outlook on the Universal Laws and being a deliberate creator of my own reality.

It really is a beautiful thing, in the smallest of ways I have noticed changes in my life and in me, my outlook on my health is slowly starting to change, and I am starting to feel naturally drawn towards looking after myself and eating well. I am becoming drawn back to my passions of the not so 'new age' anymore, but my love's of quiet time (meditation), being still, quietening the mind, crystals, healing and all things that bring me joy. I am seeing now that being 'selfish' in following MY desires and the core of who Carmen is and seeking fulfillment is not at all selfish, for it brings me so much happiness that as mentioned earlier, my relationship with my daughter is starting to blossom, her connection to me is really quite touching and this is ALL because she has a happy Mum. I also feel that when your living from the place of who you really are how can you go wrong.

Which brings me to my next exciting point, and that is the journey I am about to begin into Yoga. Yoga is a technique that I've always wanted to try but never really got there. Without saying I'm going to become a yoga for life convert with all the flashy outfits and mats and gadgets, I have become attracted to what seems to be a very spiritual side to yoga, a mind body and spirit transformation which ultimately I am seeking. So, I have stumbled across the lovely Dashama. I first saw Dashama by default on You Tube when I was looking at Yoga and she just caught my eye, not just her beauty but her presence, her vitality for life and here is a beautiful young woman living life how she desires it to be. Truly inspirational.

I am really really looking forward to starting the 30 Day Yoga Challenge with Dashama. Here is a video explaining the challenge, it really is not a challenge between individuals, but yourself and I am completely ready, open and willing to begin.

John Mayer - Daughters (Acoustic)

I LOVE this song, John Mayer is amazingly talented. This song is touching and more because as a woman it's a reminder for me that I was once a young girl influenced in love by those closest to me, my Mum and Dad. The way they loved each other, and the way they loved me instilled that value in me. It's a reminder of the powerful influence I have on my young daughter, how I perceive love, and display this affection will initially be how she loves and trusts when she gets older.

Peaceful Massage

I have always loved the peaceful, blissful state I'm in when receiving bodywork such as a massage treatment. I used to receive a massage fortnightly from the most lovely therapist in New Zealand (my home), she had a beautiful aura and touch and I really looked forward to that hour of bliss where I could just allow myself to be safe in her hands. That was 4 years ago now and since then my little family and I have uprooted ourselves from New Zealand and moved to Sydney, Australia.

Well today I received my first massage since then from a wonderful, sensitive and in tune therapist based in Rouse Hill, NSW. What was so satisfying about this treatment I received was she immediately tuned in to my needs, and pin pointed exactly where I am emotionally, spiritually and in her words (after sharing with her my journey to date and the search I am on now) she states "I get from you that you are disconnected". It really was what I needed to hear because the journey I am on at the moment is really making me aware of what I want and in what parts of my life I feel that disconnection.

I guess when you embark upon a journey, be it a spiritual journey, or personal development or any journey of personal transformation we could be forgiven for expecting it to be enjoyable and wonderful all of the time without pain, but I am realising now that as I become more open that I am seeing the disconnection that I have allowed to manifest in my life. I confess this is a little painful but I definitely feel relief in this realisation because now I can do something about it.

Massage has always allowed me to connect back to my inner wellness and peace so I look forward to allowing this therapy back into my life.

Letting it Flow

I've had the most relaxing and peaceful day. Last night I listened to an excellent video of Abraham-Hicks, and 4 times more since then, you can watch it HERE.

The teaching on this video is really about letting go of your resistance and beginning to go with the flow. I've always felt I need to 'Make' things happen in my life, when in reality there is nothing for me to 'make' happen, I just need to get into vibration of what I desire and offer that vibration.

When we live in resistance it causes unhappiness, stress, anger, resentment and all the negative emotions we can think of, I have experienced all of these and more the past few weeks, allowing life to pile up and beat me around and in turn the loves of my life end up with the result of that negative emotion. But when we stop paddling our canoe upstream and allow it to turn downstream and go with the flow all of these resistant emotions disappear.

I have to say that in just 1 day I have felt the positive effect of letting go, and this is all without feeling like I've lost any sense of direction, in fact I feel more in tune with my direction than I have in a long time.

The Universe Answers

Why am I so surprised each time the Universe answers and shows me the solution to my questions at a particular time?. When I am going through something in my life and I find myself searching my own limited consciousness for the answer - then! the Universe hears me and offers to guide and help me through it. I am an expressive person anyway but I find myself just floored when this happens and it's all the time. My awareness is expanding and I'm seeing these signs around me everywhere.

Let me explain:
I would normally put the emotions I'm having down to being hormonal (but am now realising this is more likely to be resistance than the old hormonal excuse). There is a belief that I carry about the relationships I have. To make a long story short, I have lived being consumed with what people think of me. In relation to my husband, I think at a subconscious level it is of great consuming concern what he thinks of me, I seem to yearn for his approval. I know that this comes from my childhood because I was the same with my father, I don't know why because I have wonderful memories of my upbringing, but I think it may relate to the fact that my wonderful mother was always there for myself and my siblings, and I see now she was the connection between us children and our father. He was a very hard worker and business owner so I guess he was at work a lot. I acknowledge now that my low self esteem required approval from those that I love. This is one of many emotions and beliefs that I must release before I can truly love myself for the ME that I am.

So in the midst of having a pity party this morning over this exact belief I received an email note from our friends Abraham-Hicks which reads:

You have to care more about where you're feeling and how you want to feel, than anything else. You have to care more than what your husband thinks. You have to care more than what your mother-in-law thinks. You have to care more than what your neighbors think. You have to care more than what your church thinks or your government thinks. You have to care more than what anything that is outside of you thinks, because by caring about how you feel, you can shift your vibration.

And when you shift your vibration, every relationship shifts. Every single one.

Wow, how much did I need that. I am now aware of the effect this belief has had on my life and the effect it would have had in my future, had I allowed it. I avidly listen to Louise L. Hay's 'You Can Heal Your Life' and series of audios, I'm listening all I can to The teachings of Abraham which really was the trigger for my true awakening to my source energy and the vibration I offer to the Universe.

My journey is wonderful, exciting, blissful and ongoing....life takes a whole new meaning when you follow what your heart is telling you, when you listen to that which is drawing you back to the blissful perfect life that has always been with you and living in a way of just simply knowing, and as Louise L. Hay would say "listening to your inner ding". When my 'inner ding' or intuition says "this is right" - then I know this is right for me, even when I cannot explain it. This is a whole new acceptance and understanding for someone who used to require logic and reason.
